The full lineup for Who’s Number One 19 has now been confirmed and this stacked event is scheduled for August 10th, 2023. Not only is there a superb main event grudge match booked, but there’s also two different title-fights shortly before that as well. Nicholas Meregali and Kaynan Duarte will be meeting for the fourth time at the event, with both men looking to gain the upper hand in a series that currently sits at 2-2 between them. In the co-main event beforehand, Ffion Davies will be looking to defend her WNO flyweight title against rising star Jasmine Rocha. The other title on the line doesn’t have a reigning champion though, as the promotion’s lightweight belt was recently vacated. Two of Canada’s top competitors, Ethan Crelinsten and Dante Leon will be battling it out for the vacant title in an superb match that promises plenty of excitement.
There’s plenty more to look forward to before that as well, with another three matches booked for the main card. Among them is an appearance by one of the top heavyweights in the sport, as Felipe Pena will be taking on B-Team’s Haisam Rida in an interesting superfight. Rida and Crelinsten aren’t alone either, as several of their teammates will also be competing at the event. Nicky Ryan makes a rare appearance against top 10th Planet black belt Rene Sousa, and B-Team Jiu-Jitsu is featured heavily in the four fun preliminary card matches booked before the main card as well.
