Enyo Grappling 4 is scheduled to take place on September 21st, 2023 and the lineup for the promotion’s first ever grand prix event is set to generate plenty of excitement. The weight limit has been set at 70kg and the tournament will take place during BJJ Summer Week, a training camp that features elite instruction from some of the best grapplers on the planet. The day before Enyo Grappling 4 takes place, the promotion has also arranged a Contenders tournament that is open to all applicants, and the winner will earn the final spot in the grand prix the following day.
The biggest name competing in the under 70kg grand prix at Enyo Grappling 4 is undoubtedly Maggie Grindatti, an elite competitor who has already taken on some of the best female grapplers available. She could be considered the favorite in the tournament but things will be far from easy for her, as there are several other fantastic grapplers in the lineup. Danielle Tighe is known for putting on fantastic performances on the UK professional grappling circuit and she’s a veteran of Enyo Grappling too.
Gamila Kanew and Martina Zola are also competing and are equally popular competitors in the UK, so either one of them will present a tough challenge in the opening round and beyond. Completing the grand prix bracket is Gabrielle Ripepi, Raquel Ferreira da Silva, and Hayley Carter; all of whom are all exciting grapplers in their own right as well. Although Grindatti might be considered the early favorite, each one of these women is capable of delivering an upset and anything can happen on the night. One thing is for certain, there will be plenty of high-level grappling and action-packed matches once they all take to the mats.
