The full team lineup of grapplers representing Sapateiro at an upcoming cross-promotional Quintet event on January 27th, 2024 has now been confirmed. As the news has started to be released about each of the teams competing at the event, it’s clear that this is going to be a fantastic night of high-level team grappling action. Four of the biggest promotions in North America are joining forces and each one are sending out 5 competitors who have previously made appearances for them to determine which one has the strongest roster.

The Enigma Jiu-Jitsu team was first to be fully announced, and the Finishers Sub-Only team was the next lineup that got confirmed. Now that Sapateiro have released their full list of competitors too, fans can see that there’s going to be some fantastic matchups right from the start. Leading Sapateiro is one of the biggest emerging talents in the sport right now, Max Hanson, who currently holds the promotion’s lightweight and welterweight titles. Andre Porfirio is another Sapateiro champion who will be representing them, and these two men alone are giving the team a great chance of winning here.

Ryan Aitken is also representing Sapateiro and as the reigning Combat Jiu Jitsu Middleweight world champion, he’ll be another incredibly tough challenge for anyone he faces. The team actually has a ton of competitive experience behind them, with ADCC veteran John Combs being the fourth man. The final man rounding out the team is Adrian Nez, another incredibly talented grappler who will no doubt be giving it his all once his matches start. No matter how great the Sapateiro team lineup is, it’s worth remembering that both the Finishers Sub-Only and the Enigma Jiu-Jitsu teams also have some of the best grapplers in the world in their ranks.

Sapateiro announced the full lineup of all 5 competitors who are representing them at the upcoming cross-promotional team grappling event in a recent post to their official Instagram account:
