Third Coast Grappling’s next event is just a matter of weeks away and already the second competitor has been added to the lineup as Kaynan Duarte will be challenging for the grand prize at 3CG 6. The total prize money available at the event is $20,000 and only $5,000 of it will be given to the man who falls short after reaching the final, with the remaining $15,000 being given to the eventual winner. Duarte joins the first entrant announced, Nicky Rodriguez, in his quest for a ton of cash on April 3rd and even though the bracket is only 25% full, it already looks like a fantastic event.

Ever since 3CG 6 was first announced and long before big names like Kaynan Duarte were ever attached to the tournament, it was very clear that the Texas-based promotion was going all in on their latest event. The five-figure total of prize money up for grabs at the event was always going to attract some impressive names and the first two announcements haven’t disappointed. Of course, the massive effort that Third Coast Grappling are putting into this event is understandable considering that this will be the promotion’s very first event since separating from FloGrappling, being broadcast on FITE TV as a PPV.
