The AIGA Champions League Final will take place across June 28th and 29th, 2025 and each of the eight teams have now announced their official lineup. This event has been more than a year in the making now, as several qualifying tournaments have been taking place all around the world. Team Eurotrash dominated the first one in Turkey over a year ago now and the second qualifying round was equally one-sided, as the star-studded team representing Kasai won every single match in the Brazilian qualifier. There was a little break after that but it wasn’t long before AIGA returned, and two spots were on the line in America.

Checkmat won the USA qualifier after several tough matchups but the second invite available actually ended up going unclaimed, as 10th Planet withdrew from the grand finale due to suffering multiple injuries. The final invite was up for grabs in Kazakhstan and  although they breezed through the first two matches, Al Leone had to win a tough final to secure their position. With four spots remaining, one went out to the inaugural AIGA champions who gave Al Leone such a difficult challenge; Universal Fighters. Battleforce were also given the opportunity to return and given that they only finished fourth after losing the third-place playoff to Universal Fighters last time, they will be out for revenge.

Team Modolfo announced a return with a new name and a new roster, and now they will be known as Williams Elite Team instead. Many of the same competitors have remained though, and they’re ready to take on an even tougher field of competition than they did last time around when they became the champions in 2023. The final team to announce their lineup for the AIGA Champions League Final 2025 is actually the silver medalist from that edition, Acai Republic. They’ve managed to put together an even more impressive team than last time around, so there’s sure to be fireworks at every stage of the tournament as these teams battle it out for $1,000,000.
