PJ Barch NewsPJ Barch is the one of the top 10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu competitors of his generation, with a deep background in wrestling beforehand. Barch actually wrestled at a Division I college briefly before he found Jiu-Jitsu, through using it to prepare for MMA. Barch traveled and switched gyms extensively during the first few years of his involvement in the sport, before eventually finding a home at 10th Planet San Diego. That was where he trained under Richie Martinez, who promoted him through most of the colored belt ranks and finally to black belt in 2016. Barch immediately began competing frequently at the highest level of the sport and he eventually made his ADCC debut in 2022, before becoming the founder and head coach of 10th Planet South Bay.
