UFC Fight Pass Invitational 7 Full Results And Review

UFC Fight Pass Invitational 7 took place on May 15th, 2024 and there was some fantastic results throughout the stacked lineup. Although most of the predicted winners managed to take home the wins in their respective matches, there was a handful of upsets as well. Oliver Taza stood out before the event began as he was moving up to 195lbs to take on Pedro Rocha, and he ended up beating him on points despite the size difference. Perhaps the biggest upset of the night came much later on though, as Luke Griffith managed to submit two-time ADCC world champion Kaynan Duarte with a rear-naked choke.

Taza and Griffith weren’t the only members of the New Wave Jiu-Jitsu team competing, and John Danaher’s students finished the night with a perfect record. The opening match saw Helena Crevar earn the judge’s decision win over fellow ADCC Trials winner Aurelie Le Vern, and Giancarlo Bodoni locked up a rear-naked choke to submit Gabriel Arges. This was all leading up to the main event of the evening, where the promotion’s two absolute grand prix champions faced off. Nicky Rodriguez scored the only points of the match against Mason Fowler and walked away with the win, and proved his position as the promotion’s undisputed absolute champion.
