UFC BJJ 6 is scheduled for March 12th, 2026 and we’ve put together a full preview of every superfight on the card. Some of the best grapplers in the world will be competing and the night will end in a pair of title-fights; one of which will definitely feature the promotion crowning a brand new champion. That’s because the women’s bantamweight division will be getting it’s first champion when Ffion Davies and Cassia Moura meet on the mat. Mason Fowler is taking part in the main event of the evening, as he will be attempting to defend the light-heavyweight title against Pedro Machado.
UFC BJJ 6 Full Card Preview
Mason Fowler vs Pedro Machado – Light-Heavyweight Championship
Mason Fowler is the defending champion so naturally there’s always going to be more people leaning towards him, but he also has far more experience in no gi than Pedro Machado does. Fowler has competed at ADCC multiple times while Machado has been focusing exclusively on his gi career over the last few years; although he has been a frequent face on the podium at various IBJJF majors. Machado did win his debut at UFC BJJ 1 in impressive fashion though, so he definitely could cause an upset here even if Fowler is the favorite.
Ffion Davies vs Cassia Moura – Bantamweight Championship
The second title-fight is an even more interesting match; thanks to Cassia Moura’s meteoric rise to the top of the sport over the last year or so. She’s already beaten several ADCC Trials winners and won two IBJJF No Gi World Championship titles despite being just 20 years old. Ffion Davies on the other hand has pretty much established herself as the consensus top female no gi grappler in the world, so a win over her would be massive for Moura. Moura isn’t a particularly prolific finisher and Davies is an elite standing grappler and passer, so the most likely outcome here is a decision win for Davies.
Nick Rodriguez vs Elder Cruz – Heavyweight
Nick Rodriguez had an excellent year in 2024 that included winning the inaugural CJI, but that was a little while ago now. He is still one of the best heavyweights in the world of course, and his ability to wrestle up is second to none. What makes this match interesting is that Elder Cruz actually has a win over Rodriguez dating back to WNO 11 in 2022. That was a very close match though and as we said, Rodriguez wasn’t anywhere near his peak back then. Cruz will undoubtedly make it a tough match and may even put Rodriguez in trouble, but Rodriguez is the favorite to win.
Meyram Maquine vs Marco Mendes – Featherweight
Marco Mendes is just a few months removed from winning the biggest title of his career so far, as he took gold at featherweight in the IBJJF No Gi World Championship 2025. He came close both of the last two years before that though; winning a pair of bronze medals. Mendes is very well-rounded and can keep up with the best everywhere, but Meyram Maquine is on a whole other level. Maquine is one of the top gi featherweights in the world and he has looked exactly as dominant since returning to no gi competition last year. He has incredible passing and one of the toughest guards in the world, so he should take this one.
Anna Rodrigues vs Jasmine Rocha – Bantamweight
This battle between Anna Rodrigues and Jasmine Rocha is the only female match outside of the title-fight and it looks as though it’s been set up to determine the next challenger for that belt. Rodrigues and Rocha have actually met twice before under different rulesets; once at ADCC Trials and once at the IBJJF No Gi Pan Championship, and Rodrigues won both. She won them by decision and on points respectively, and Rocha has developed a lot since those matches too. This will probably be the closest match of the night and it could go either way, but we’re picking Rodrigues to go 3-0.
Devhonte Johnson vs Lucas Norat – Heavyweight
Devhonte Johnson has been competing and winning against the very best for over 7 years now and there aren’t many heavyweights out there with more experience than him. He’s always a tough opponent and one of the most physically-imposing guys out there, so he never gets bullied around. His opponent, Lucas Norat, is well-rounded and he has beaten some good competitors but this really is Johnson’s match to lose. Johnson is already 3-0 against Norat and every match has been decisive; with him winning one by submission and two by large points-margins. Johnson should be able to do it again here in similar fashion.
Jussier Formiga vs Joao Miyao – Bantamweight
This match is one that grappling fans should really be looking forward to; mainly because getting to see Joao Miyao compete on big stages is such a rare treat these days. Miyao is facing another older competitor here too, as Jussier Formiga is actually 6 years his senior. MMA veteran Formiga is coming off a very impressive win against Lucas Pinheiro at UFC BJJ 4 so nobody should be underestimating him, but Miyao is one of the greats. He has truly mastered the berimbolo and he can finish absolutely anyone once he gets to the back, so the smart money is on Miyao by rear-naked choke.
Manuel Ribamar vs Caio Vinicius – Middleweight
Manuel Ribamar is another veteran competitor with a number of titles to his name over the past decade; having hundreds of matches in that time. Caio Vinicius isn’t as experienced as Ribamar and he’s had mixed results when facing the top level of talent too, so that doesn’t bode well for him. Neither man has a high finishing-rate so it seems to be almost a certainty that this one will be going to decision and at that point, it’s hard not to imagine Ribamar taking it.
