Arte Suave Elite 32 is scheduled for February 26th, 2024 and the promotion has arranged a fantastic openweight tournament featuring 4 elite female black belt competitors. This will be the main attraction of a busy event, as there will also be several superfights taking pace earlier on the card. Along with matches between a ton of talented colored belt competitors, there will also be a great black belt match between Alfredo Moscoso and Christiano Troisi. There’s plenty to look forward to on the night and the promotion has already announced the bracket for the women’s openweight tournament too.

The first matchup will see Thamara Ferreira taking on Jordan Patrick, and there should be plenty of entertainment when they meet on the mats. It’s tough to pick a favorite in this half of the bracket as Ferreira coming into the event in great form, winning a silver medal at the IBJJF No Gi World Championship at the end of last year. Patrick is far from an easy match for her and she has also managed to reach the podium of a major tournament in 2023, as she won a silver and a bronze medal at the IBJJF No Gi Pan Championship.

The other side of the bracket contains Melissa Stricker, one of the top female gi competitors in the world and she’s proved that time and time again. She will likely be the favorite in the whole tournament thanks to her past achievements and the fact that she should have a size advantage against her opponents too. Her opening round match will be against Brittney Johnson, one of the top prospects in the most recent wave of BJJ black belts to be promoted at ATOS last year.

Arte Suave Elite announced the full lineup and bracket for their women’s openweight tournament in a recent post to their official Instagram account:
