Read moreATOS is one of the biggest and most successful BJJ affiliations on the planet, originally founded in 2008 by Ramon Lemos and Andre Galvao. At first the team was located in Sao Paulo, Brazil but moved to San Diego, California in 2010. Rafael and Guilherme Mendes were the team’s first black belts back in 2008 but since then, several more top competitors have joined them. Not only that, but many more have moved to represent the same team after being promoted to black belt by other coaches. The affiliation continues to grow today and currently has academies in over 20 different countries.
