Travis Fulton is one of the most experienced MMA fighters on the planet with 320 professional fights under his belt, including a pair of UFC fights, and he’s just recently been indicted by a grand jury on multiple charges of Child Pornography. The news was originally reported by the WCF Courier when the indictment was unsealed last week as Fulton appeared in court to plead ‘not guilty’ to all charges. Reportedly, Travis Fulton will be facing a trial in April after being charged with sexual exploitation of a child, possession of child pornography, and receipt of child pornography.
According to the indictment, Fulton attempted to convince a minor to engage in sexual content on a Canon Powershot camera back in November 2020. Alongside this, he also allegedly had possession of a flash drive that contained pornography depicting a child under the age of 12 between November 2018 and November 2020. This isn’t the only legal trouble that Fulton has found himself in during that time period however, as he is also currently facing an entirely separate charge stemming from an incident in September 2019.
At that time, Fulton allegedly punched a woman in the back of the head in Waterloo, Iowa. He was then charged with willful injury and domestic assault, and he is reported to have threatened to kill the alleged victim if she spoke to the police. The same newspaper reported that both Fulton and the alleged victim were detained after they were seen at a hotel together, in violation of the restraining order in place. Sadly, Fulton is not the first MMA veteran to experience trouble with the law, and likely will not be the last either.
