High Rollerz 15 is scheduled for May 15th 2022 and the promotion has really stepped up their game with their latest venture, a Celebrity Open featuring eight fantastic grapplers who are all sponsored by and representing famous faces. Every one of the celebrities putting their name to the event are all involved in the Marijuana industry at some point or simply big advocates for the drug. Undoubtedly the biggest names that you’ll see at the event are multiple-time platinum album rapper Wiz Khalifa and one of the greatest heavyweight boxers in the history of the sport, Mike Tyson.

There are another six celebrity sponsors who will be represented at the event, including DJ Whoo Kid, Cypress Hill rapper B-Real, WWE Hall of Fame wrestler Rob Van Dam, and UFC Lightweight and Welterweight contender Nate Diaz. The competitors who will take part include a number of MMA veterans with impressive resumes like Albert Morales and Javier Garcia, alongside no gi specialists like Jordan Wirth and Travis Brooks. This is far from the first time that a celebrity has gotten involved in the BJJ community of course, but these are certainly the most high-profile examples of people willing to put money in to the sport.

High Rollerz have been known to introduce some great gimmicks at their events and the tongue-in-cheek nature of the promotion is one of the main reasons why they’ve grown so popular over the years. Much like their previous events High Rollerz 15 will also feature a number of superfights alongside the main event tournament, including those that give up-and-coming coloured belts the chance to make their name on a popular event.

The news of the Celebrity open at High Rollerz 15 on May 15th 2022 was announced in a post to the promotion’s official Instagram account:
