ADXC 8 is scheduled for December 6th, 2024 and the promotion has just finished announcing the full card. The preliminary card is up first and there are plenty of fun matches throughout, including three between top young prospects. That will lead into the main card, where some of the best grapplers in the world will be stepping into the cage. The only women’s BJJ match of the main card sees Maria Delahaye facing Brenda Larissa in what promises to be a very exciting bout. It’s the first time the two women have met on the mats and they’re both notoriously hard to submit, so it’s going to be a very tough battle.
The only other gi match of the main event is one between two of the best bantamweights in the world, as Thalison Soares takes on Khaled Alshehhi. The other three main card bouts are all no gi matches and although Amir Albazi faces Jafel Filho in the main event, it’s the other two matchups that will attract the most attention. Bellator veteran James Gallagher will be challenging himself under a different ruleset against Movlid Khaybulaev, and the final match is between two elite grapplers. Roberto ‘Cyborg’ Abreu will be getting his long-awaited rematch against Haisam Rida and he’ll be eager for revenge after being submitted by him at ADCC 2022.
