Yet another phenomenal matchup has just been announced for the upcoming Who’s Number One event at the end of this month, as Edwin ‘Junny’ Ocasio takes a huge challenge in Geo Martinez. Both men are incredibly skilled leglockers who represent slightly different approaches to the game, with Martinez being one of 10th Planet’s most prolific competitors and Ocasio being renowned for his use of the Hip Lock. The match has been set for the same WNO event that is due to be headlined by Craig Jones and ATOS’ Ronaldo Junior.

The match between Edwin “Junny” Ocasio and Geo Martinez isn’t the only one likely to result in a battle for dominant leg entanglements as Nicky Ryan also features on the card in a battle against rising star, Roberto Jimenez. This is just the start of a card that’s guaranteed to deliver some incredible high-level action as there is likely to be several more additions to the lineup, even after FloGrappling has already revealed a blockbuster rubber match between Gabi Garcia and Nathiely De Jesus. Who’s Number One events usually feature a decent number of matches and every single one involves a pair of elite athletes, even on the preliminary portion of the event.

Both Martinez and Ocasio will be eager to put on a big show at the event, as Ocasio has only recently bounced back with a submission victory at F2W 160, just a matter of months after his last match of 2020 against Kennedy Maciel at F2W 156 that saw him lose his title in stunning fashion. Martinez also lost to Maciel in his last outing and although he lasted a little longer than Ocasio, he too was submitted by the young star at the last Who’s Number One event.

The full Who’s Number One event will be streamed live on FloGrappling on February 26th, click here to subscribe and watch.
