BJJ Stars 13: Vikings Edition took place on August 3rd, 2024 and there was a great combination of fun matches and huge upsets in the results. Gabriel Galvao produced the biggest upset of the night when he stepped in on very short notice to replace Tainan Dalpra against Francisco Lo, and he managed to get the decision win against his more established opponent. The rest of the preliminary card was equally entertaining, and it led into the stacked main card in a great way when Isaque Bahiense was able to lock up a guillotine and submit Alexandre De Jesus in the final match.
Andy Murasaki kicked off the main card with a points win over Pedro Maia in the gi, and the next match was also contested in the gi. Fellipe Andrew faced a weight disadvantage against Anderson Munis and he put on a fantastic performance, submitting him with an arm-triangle choke. The replacement co-main event then saw Felipe Machado give a brilliant account of himself against Diogo Reis, although he ended up losing on points. His teammate Mica Galvao then put on a solid performance in the main event to beat former ADCC world champion Davi Ramos on points as well.
