He was introduced to the sport by his father at the age of 5 and over time he became one of the top young prospects in the sport. At 15, Dalpra moved to California to train under Rafael and Guilherme Mendes at Art of Jiu-Jitsu. After 5 years of developing his skills at the colored belt levels, Dalpra was promoted to black belt by Guilherme Mendes in 2020. He immediately won the IBJJF World Championship on his first attempt and quickly established himself as one of the top competitors on the planet.
