Who’s Number One 20: Night Of Champions took place on October 1st, 2023, and the promotion put together an incredibly stacked card that delivered great results for the fans. A title was on the line in nearly every one of their matches, all the way up to an exciting main event where Gordon Ryan returned to competition against Patrick Gaudio. Ryan dominated the match from the start and methodically worked his way up to an armbar finish in order to retain the heavyweight title. The women’s heavyweight title was also on the line at the event and Nathiely De Jesus put on an impressive display in a hard-fought decision victory, dethroning Rafaela Guedes.

Some divisions didn’t have a reigning champion though, like the women’s featherweight division where Elisabeth Clay and Brianna Ste-Marie battled for the belt. Both women had their moments of success in the match and there was plenty of action, but in the end it was Clay who won the decision and the title. The other two vacant WNO titles were awarded as the result of 4-man tournaments with fantastic lineups in the featherweight division, and in the welterweight division as well.

There was a ton of action in both of the tournaments and the eventual winners put on fantastic displays in their matches, with Mica Galvao landing the submission of the night on the way to winning the welterweight title. Diogo Reis spent more time on the mats than anyone else at Who’s Number One 20: Night Of Champions and he got the results he wanted in the end. He won the featherweight title after two impressive showings in 15 minute decisions against Keith Krikorian and Gabriel Sousa, keeping up a fantastic pace throughout the whole night.
