Bellator MMA might not be the biggest promotion in the world but they’ve reached the point now where they have a huge wealth of content and an impressive list of the ten fastest submissions in the promotion’s history. There’s plenty of notable names that make the list, including ex-Bellator Middleweight World Champion Alexander Shlemenko and one of the hottest prospects in the sport, Aaron Pico, both of whom are on the receiving end of lightning-fast submissions.
The list also features SBG Ireland’s James Gallagher, who has racked up an impressive number of submission finishes in such a short time. Aaron “Tex” Johnson also features high up on the list with an impressive fifteen second finish that he earned against Brennan Ward in his only fight in the Bellator cage. Since he stopped competing in professional MMA, Tex has been far more well known for his grappling career instead. Top of the list then is Aviv Gozali, son of Haim Gozali who is a fourth-degree black belt under Renzo Gracie, an ADCC veteran, and a frequent competitor on the IBJJF Masters circuit.
