UFC Fight Pass Invitational 6 took place on March 3rd, 2024 and the promotion put together an incredible card that really delivered some big results for the fans watching. Several top grapplers from B-Team Jiu-Jitsu were competing throughout the card, including in both the main and co-main events of the evening. They were far from the only big names though, as there were several ADCC veterans matched up against one another too. One match on the main card in particular drew a ton of attention during the build-up to the event, as Matheus Diniz was moving up in weight to challenge Nicholas Meregali.
Things started out strong with some fun matches before Jacob Rodriguez was able to get B-Team Jiu-Jitsu off to a great start by winning his match by submission. The next match on the lineup was an incredible war between two exciting competitors, as Ronaldo Junior and Kody Steele gave it everything they had. Neither man could find the submission or even score against each other and in the end, the judges gave the decision to Junior. That match was followed by two slick submission finishes, as both Victor Hugo and Mason Fowler won their respective matches against fellow ADCC veterans.
Those matches led straight into one of the most hotly-anticipated matches of the event and Nicholas Meregali looked fantastic against Matheus Diniz, taking his back and locking up the rear-naked choke to get the win. the co-main event was up next and it was another entertaining battle between Nicky Rodriguez and Roberto Jimenez, with Rodriguez getting the win on points in overtime. Craig Jones took to the mats then for the main event of UFC Fight Pass Invitational 6 and he got the results he was looking for in his match with Rafael Lovato Jr, submitting him with a heel hook.
