UFC Fight Pass Invitational 11 is scheduled for May 29th, 2025 and this preview will break down every match on the stacked card. One of the biggest talking points coming into the event is the introduction of a completely new format and set of rules, with each match being contested over three five-minute rounds. That’s certainly going to change how the competitors act, but these are some of the best grapplers in the world and they’re all capable of adapting to anything. There’s plenty to look forward to, but the main event rematch between Ffion Davies and Adele Fornarino is one of the biggest matches in the sport right now.
UFC Fight Pass Invitational 11 Full Card Preview
Ffion Davies vs Adele Fornarino – 125lbs
Ffion Davies already holds a win over Adele Fornarino and she’s been one of the best female grapplers in the world for quite a few years now. While she might normally be considered the favorite, Fornarino is coming into this match off the back of the best performance of her career. She won gold in the closest weight class to this at ADCC 2024 and even won the absolute division there too, finishing the weekend with a perfect 6-0 record against the very best the sport has to offer. Davies probably does still have the slight edge on paper, but Fornarino has improved tremendously in recent years and she might be able to get revenge here.
Ana Vieira vs Raquel Canuto – 145lbs
Ana Viera is another reigning ADCC world champion competing at UFC Fight Pass Invitational 11 and she’s also one of the biggest favorites in this preview. Raquel Canuto has so far been unbeatable on the UFC FPI mats and the quality of her opponents have been increasing over time too. This is a massive step up in competition though, as Vieira has been consistently winning world titles for about eight years now. Even if Vieira doesn’t find the finish, her elite passing game should see her through to a decision victory.
William Tackett vs Achilles Rocha – 185lbs
This matchup is flying under the radar a little but it’s probably going to end up being the most exciting match of the night. William Tackett and Achilles Rocha both put on a relentless pace and do very well at winning scrambles, meaning that there should be plenty of wild exchanges. They were both top prospects as teenagers too, but Tackett is a few years further ahead on that career-trajectory and has a lot more high-level experience. Rocha should be able to create some opportunities but the safe bet is that Tackett walks away with the win.
Mason Fowler vs Christiano Troisi – 205lbs
Mason Fowler has earned a position at the very top of the sport in this weight class with consistent success over the last few years and he’s one of the toughest opponents imaginable. Christiano Troisi is an excellent grappler in his own right and he’s good success on the IBJJF circuit and at smaller shows, but he hasn’t reached the same level of success as Fowler. Troisi is equally tough to submit but Fowler is so well-rounded that he has multiple paths to victory and it’s hard to imagine him losing this one.
Francisco Lo vs Enrico Said – 185lbs
This match has the biggest difference in experience between the two opponents, as Francisco Lo is a veteran black belt competitor and Enrico Said is a 20 year-old prospect rising up the ranks. It’s a huge opportunity for Said and a chance to beat a big name like Lo doesn’t come around often, but he’s still very early in his career. Lo can attack submissions from anywhere and he’s a great guard-passer, so he should prove to be a very tough opponent for Said in every position and he’s the most likely winner as a result.
Jasmine Rocha vs Alex Enriquez – 125lbs
This is another matchup that isn’t quite getting the recognition it deserves, as both Jasmine Rocha and Alex Enriquez are ADCC-calibre grapplers. They have quite a bit of history together too, as this will be the fifth time that they’ve met and Rocha currently leads the series 3-1. Two of Rocha’s wins came by way of submission and she’s actually one of only two women to submit Enriquez at black belt. It’s actually pretty tough to predict how this match will go and either woman is capable of winning really, but Rocha does have the slight advantage based on past performances.
Keven Carrasco vs Sebastien Oyervidez – 135lbs
Keven Carrasco is a solid competitor both in the gi and in no gi, but his biggest accomplishments so far have come in the gi. Sebastian Oyervidez on the other hand is a no gi specialist and he’s actually been using those skills to embark upon an MMA career in recent years. Oyervidez is 4-0 as an amateur and 3-0 as a professional, with all of his wins coming by way of submission. Carrasco has the advantage in high-level experience but Oyervidez is likely going to push the pace as much as possible, and he should be able to win the decision if he can stay safe while doing so.
Cobey Fehr vs Ty Costlow – 155lbs
Cobey Fehr is another MMA fighter rising up the ranks, but he’s been submitted before during his amateur career. He has been fighting for around a decade now so he has quite a large experience advantage over Ty Costlow, but Costlow has some fantastic leg attacks in his repertoire. Fehr should probably be the favorite on paper but stylistically, Costlow presents a difficult challenge and we’re actually predicting him to come away with the win in this preview of UFC Fight Pass Invitational 11.
