UFC Fight Pass Invitational 7 is scheduled for May 15th, 2024 and the promotion has put together a fantastic lineup that features some of the best grapplers in the world right now. The main event was announced earlier this month and it’s a battle between the promotion’s only two absolute grand prix champions, Nicky Rodriguez and Mason Fowler. That alone is a pretty huge match for both men, as it gives them the opportunity to determine who the ultimate UFC Fight Pass Invitational absolute champion is. The co-main event is also being contested without a weight limit in place, and that’s going to be an interesting matchup as Luke Griffith gets the chance to face Kaynan Duarte.
Griffith isn’t the only New Wave Jiu-Jitsu competitor who will be competing at the event either, as his teammate Giancarlo Bodoni will be stepping on the mats right before him. Bodoni will be facing Gabriel Arges and one of the youngest members of the team, Helena Crevar, gets an incredibly tough challenge against fellow ADCC Trials winner Aurelie Le Vern. There’s definitely going to be plenty of entertainment throughout the card as well, as notoriously entertaining grapplers Renato Canuto and Jacob Rodriguez have been booked against Aaron Wilson and Jonnatas Gracie respectively. Beyond that, the UFC Fight Pass Invitational 7 lineup is rounded out by Piter Frank vs Rafael Domingos and Raquel Canuto vs Aislinn O’Connell.
