Polaris has just announced their intention to open up the applications process for anybody to compete on the undercard of the upcoming Polaris Squads 3 event. This represents an incredible opportunity for those lucky enough to be selected as not only will the entire event be streamed live on UFC FightPass, but they will also be on the same card as some of the best grapplers around right now.

The applications process for Polaris Squads 3 is actually relatively simple, the UK-based promotion just want to see a highlight reel of anyone putting their name forward, and all belt levels are welcome to apply. From there, the promotion will select grapplers to compete against one another during the build-up to the main event squads match between Team USA and Team UK & Ireland on 17th July.

It’s unclear yet just how many grapplers will be selected through this method, or how many matches the promotion is looking to arrange in total for the undercard. One thing is for sure though, given the reputation Polaris has for encouraging fast-paced and exciting grappling matches, they’ll certainly be looking for the most impressive highlight reels available.

The full play-by-play and live results for the first Polaris Squads can be found here, along with the full play-by-play and live results for the second Polaris Squads event here. Rest assured, we’ll be on hand again to provide the same for Polaris Squads 3.

Polaris Squads 3 featuring Team USA v Team UK & Ireland will be streamed live on 17th July on UFC FightPass, click here to subscribe and watch.
