Mikey Musumeci has just issued a public challenge to popular YouTube personality Sneako, declaring that he wants to face him in an MMA fight. It might seem like an unusual prospect at first, but Musumeci has already been talking about potentially making his MMA debut at some point towards the end of 2024. Of course, it’s not just the ruleset that would be unusual for Musumeci, it’s also the choice of opponent as well. While YouTube stars have been getting involved in boxing in recent years, none of them have tried their hand in MMA. In fact the only one of them who’s even floated the idea around has been Jake Paul, who has signed a contract with PFL.
Musumeci’s challenge came as quite a bit of a surprise, especially because he built up to it pretty cryptically at first. He started out by giving some of his personal views on bullying:
“So today I’m going to talk about bullies. Bullies are weak people that make fun of others around them to give themselves relevance and make themselves feel good. They pick on the differences of humans, which is the most beautiful part of humans, their uniqueness. I really don’t like bullies, guys.”
Sneako has criticized Mikey Musumeci and BJJ as a whole in the past, and it appears as though this MMA fight offer has come about because Musumeci hasn’t taken kindly to it:
“There’s this guy named Sneako, making fun of me, making fun of my friend, making fun of jiu-jitsu. He calls himself a boxer, I’m a jiu-jitsu guy. Let’s have an MMA fight. I challenge Sneako to an MMA fight. I’m going to shut his mouth and I’m gonna take the bully’s lunch money.”
