The first ever Place of Peace Invitational has been scheduled for May 21st, 2023 and the promotion has booked some superb grapplers for the tournament lineup. The Jiu-Jitsu brand has been in existence since 2018 and they have previously stuck to producing equipment and clothing for the sport, along with Muay Thai and MMA. Their first event will be an absolute no gi tournament for women, and each of the female competitors who will be attending the event are more than capable of emerging with the title.
One of the favourites to win the event is no doubt Trinity Pun, the young grappler who has been making waves on the competitive scene for a few years now. She recently announced that she would be making the move to New Wave Jiu-Jitsu to train under John Danaher, and she’s already been an impressive athlete long before that. Representing 10th Planet Chino Hills, Emi Miller will also be a tough challenge to any of the women who stand across from her at the tournament and she too stands a good chance of emerging victorious.
Rachel Stride and Jillian Peterson among several higher belts who will be tough to beat as well, as they will have plenty of opportunities to drag their opponents into places they might have more experience in. There’s plenty of up-and-coming competitors who’ve booked their place in the lineup for the first Place of Peace Invitational too, including Adelina Alvarez, Molli Zborowski, and several others. All in all, the tournament has a wide variety of female grapplers and there will undoubtedly be plenty of surprises and exciting moments as these women fight their way to the final.
The full lineup for the first ever Place of Peace Invitational was announced in a series of posts to the promotion’s official Instagram account.
