The IBJJF have just confirmed both the dates and the location for Jiu-Jitsu Con 2024, what will be one of the biggest BJJ events of the entire year. The promotion has set an incredibly high bar for itself already, as the 2023 edition of Jiu-Jitsu Con ended up breaking the record for the biggest BJJ tournament ever. This was a huge achievement that was clearly expected when the event was first arranged, as the IBJJF actually moved to an even bigger venue than they had before. The IBJJF has booked The West Halls 1 and 2 of the Las Vegas Convention Center once again, a clear indication that they intend to build on the success of 2023.

Jiu-Jitsu Con 2024 will take place a few days earlier than it did in 2023 though, as it has been scheduled from August 31st to September 2nd, 2024. The main attraction for the event is obviously the tournaments, with divisions for novices, kids, and experienced competitors. While fans will get to see plenty of top competitors taking to the mats, a lot of attention also goes to the older competitors as this is traditionally when the IBJJF Master World Championship takes place as well. The IBJJF has already confirmed that this will be the case in 2024.

Alongside the action on the mats, there’s also a lot of other things to do as well. Jiu-Jitsu Con usually features a series of incredible seminars with some of the best competitors and coaches in the sport. The lineup hasn’t been confirmed for 2024 yet and will likely be released in the months leading up to the event, and there will probably be some surprises to come as well. Jiu-Jitsu Con 2023 was when Shoyoroll first released their IBJJF collaboration gi, so it’ll be interesting to see what announcements are made for the 2024 edition.

The IBJJF announced the dates and location for Jiu-Jitsu Con 2024 in a recent post to their official Instagram account:
