Jiu-Jitsu Con 2023 is scheduled for August 31st to September 2nd, 2023 and the event is about to break the record for the biggest BJJ tournament ever. The event is organized by the IBJJF and it takes place every year, bringing together hundreds of grapplers from all around the world to compete and attend various seminars. The promotion announced earlier in the year that they were moving the event to a bigger venue than ever before with over 300,000 square foot of space; The West Halls 1 and 2 of the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

There are actually multiple different tournaments taking place over the course of the event, most notably the IBJJF Master World Championship 2023. Although this might be the most popular tournament taking place, there will also be the Jiu-Jitsu Con Novice International, the Jiu-Jitsu Con Kids International, and the Jiu-Jitsu Con International gi and no gi tournaments. There are hundreds of different divisions available across all five of these tournaments and between them they have attracted over 10,000 competitors. The sheer size of the event has required more than 46 different mat-spaces in order to ensure that all matches are completed on time.

While Jiu-Jitsu Con 2023 might be the biggest BJJ tournament ever staged, that isn’t the only reason to make the trip to Las Vegas for it. The event will also feature a GF Team seminar that’s being conducted by Julio Cesar and Gutemberg Pereira. There will also be plenty of stalls featuring some of the biggest brands in the Jiu-Jitsu world and fans will undoubtedly cross paths with some of the best grapplers on the planet. Some of them will be there to coach their students at any one of the tournaments competing, some will be there to compete themselves, and some will simply want to enjoy the atmosphere over the weekend.

The IBJJF announced that Jiu-Jitsu Con 2023 was going to break the record for the biggest BJJ tournament ever in a recent post to their official Instagram account:
