The IBJJF has now confirmed that Jiu-Jitsu Con will be returning in 2023, and the event will be taking place in an even bigger venue than before. The new home for the event is The West Halls 1 and 2 of the Las Vegas Convention Center and the IBJJF has booked out a massive total of 300,000 square foot of space for it. There will be everything you could possibly want from a convention, from spaces to buy any of the Jiu-Jitsu gear or casual clothing that you could want to seminars from some fantastic talents.
Jiu-Jitsu Con 2023 will take place from August 31st to September 2nd and it will feature a number of different tournaments across those days as well. The World Masters Championship, the Jiu-Jitsu Con novice tournament, the Jiu-Jitsu Con kids tournament, and Jiu-Jitsu Con gi and no gi for everyone else. These aren’t just your average tournaments either. Jiu-Jitsu Con managed to attract some of the most popular figures in the sport at various points over the weekend last year. From one of the most incredible competitors produced by Art of Jiu-Jitsu, Tainan Dalpra, all the way to veteran ATOS black belt Josh Hinger, there were a ton of top-shelf athletes competing at the event.
There will be something for every competitor of all ages and just like the last time the event took place, it’s likely that it will attract some of the biggest names in the sport to compete or coach. All in all, Jiu-Jitsu Con 2023 is set to be one of the most exciting events of the year and anyone who decides to attend will no doubt leave satisfied. As always, we’ll be on hand to deliver results from the event’s competitions and any breaking news that comes up along the way for those that aren’t able to be there.
The news that the dates and location for Jiu-Jitsu Con 2023 had been set were announced in a post to the official Instagram account of the IBJJF:
