Gordon Ryan Reveals That John Danaher And Garry Tonon Are Staying With Him

The plans for the future of the Danaher Death Squad are slowly falling into place as Gordon Ryan has now revealed that both Garry Tonon and John Danaher will be joining him in Austin, Texas. Originally, Ryan announced that he was moving to the Lone Star State in order to open his own gym for the very first time, and it was unclear who would be joining him in this new venture. It seems unusual that Danaher would be joining Ryan in an academy under his name, so it seems logical to assume that Danaher will be conducting a lot of the classes in a similar fashion that he did for Renzo Gracie in New York, or may even be a part-owner himself.

This accounts for the main man in charge of the Danaher Death Squad and it’s two most prolific competitors, but a lot of the other members of the team are still unaccounted for since Danaher’s initial announcement that the team would be going their separate ways. Several members like Oliver Taza, Robert Degle, and Nick Ronan have not yet made any comment on where they will be moving to or who they will be training under. The Australian phenom Craig Jones announced that he, Nicky Rodriguez, Ethan Crelinsten, and the younger Ryan brother Nicky would all be staying together as one training unit in Austin, Texas, although revelation has taken on a different implication after this latest one.

It seems unusual that Gordon Ryan would specifically mention Garry Tonon and John Danaher by name and still not make any comment on Craig Jones and the others in the post to his official Instagram account. The assumption was that because Craig Jones and “the B Team” were going to Austin, they must be joining Ryan too. Now that Ryan has started naming the people moving with him and not mentioned any of them, it seems as though potentially the Danaher Death Squad might all be moving to the same city, but training in separate gyms regardless.
