ADCC 2024 is still quite a while away, but the promotion has already hard at work preparing for the world’s most prestigious no gi grappling event and the first official tour and walkthrough of the arena is now available. The latest edition of the tournament is scheduled for September but there’s no concrete dates confirmed as yet, as there is still well over a year before it takes place. ADCC has to put in the work this far in advance though, because this is a gigantic event that requires an incredible amount of planning and preparation in order for it to succeed.

Mo Jassim has been retained as the head organizer for the third consecutive edition of the tournament after he spearheaded both ADCC 2019 and 2022. It should come as no surprise that he’s been kept on board really, seeing as ADCC 2022 broke through barriers that many thought would not have been possible in order to become the biggest grappling event in the history of the sport. It took place in the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nevada and attracted well over 10,000 spectators in a sold out show. Because of the likelihood of the crowd growing even further again, the new venue for ADCC 2024 will be the T-Mobile Arena instead.

As always, the event will attract some of the best grapplers on the planet to compete for glory and no doubt most of the medallists from 2022 will return to defend their titles or attempt to improve on their performances. One of the main attractions of ADCC is of course the trials events during the build-up, where eight men and four women in every weightclass will battle through a weekend of elite competitors to earn their place at the world championship. The first trial for ADCC 2024 will be the European, Middle-Eastern, and African edition in September 2023 and that will be quickly followed by the first North American trial in October, and the first Asia and Oceania trial in December.

The first official arena tour and walkthrough for ADCC 2024 was uploaded to the promotion’s official Instagram account:
