Finishers: Kombat 6 took place on April 12th, 2025 and the promotion continued with their recent format, delivering another night of great results under CJI rules. There was several fun matches but the three title-fights headlining the card were the ones that most people were waiting for. Prior to that, the highlights were Skyler Munson hitting a clean triangle choke and Mason Klein locking up a rear-naked choke to win his match. That led straight in to the first title-fight, where the women’s under 170lbs belt was on the line and either Laura Kent or Teara Lewis was going to become the new Finishers champion.
It was a tough match and both women had moments of success, but Kent was able to build up enough of a lead early on to get the decision win. The next match saw Taylor Hishaw attempting to defend her under 125lbs title against Tabatha Watkins, and it was the most impressive finishing sequence of the night. Hishaw hit a lovely back-take and started to work on the choke, but switched to top position to finish an arm-triangle choke instead. The main event was also the closest match, as there was very little to separate Kevin Dantzler and Isaac Cordova. Dantzler did enough to earn the nod from two out of three judges though, so he left with a split decision win and the under 135lbs title.
