Finishers: Kombat 6 is scheduled for April 12th, 2025 and the promotion has announced a great lineup of three title-fights to headline the event. The only men’s title on the line is at bantamweight, where Yuki Takahashi has held the belt for quite some time until recently vacating it. The two men fighting for it are both very deserving of the opportunity, as both of them have been racking up big wins lately. Kevin Dantzler has beaten several UFC world champions over the last few years but he’ll have to be on top form if he wants to become the new Finishers bantamweight champion, as last year’s IBJJF no gi Pan Championship silver medalist Isaac Cordova will be standing in his way.

There’s another vacant title on the line in the women’s 170lbs division, and the weight class has been without a queen for a while. Tough competitor Teara Lewis is the first woman with an eye on the belt and she has a ton if experience opposite some of the best grapplers in the world like Helena Crevar. Opposite her is top 10th Planet brown belt Laura Kent and she although she’s had some excellent performances on the mats, Finishers fans will also recognise her from her recent commentary work at Finishers: Women’s Survivor Series. It’s going to be a tough matchup and both women have their own paths to victory, so it’ll be interesting to see who comes out on top.

The final title-fight of the night is the only one where a champion is attempting to defend her belt, with young prospect Taylor Hishaw currently holding the women’s 125lbs belt. This will actuall be Hishaw’s first title-defense, as she won the title a little under 6 months ago at Finishers: Night of Champions 2. Brown belt Tabatha Watkins is the woman who will be challenging her for the belt, and she’s been very active lately across both the IBJJF circuit and superfight events. Hishaw won the title by split-decision and all signs point to this being just as close of a match, no matter which way it goes.

The full Finishers: Kombat 6 event, including all of the above title-fights, will be available to watch live on April 12th, 2025 on Flograppling, click here to subscribe and watch.
