Opening Round
Nolf drops for a quick ankle-pick but Ruotolo avoids the danger and picks up the pace handfighting. Ruotolo is weighing heavily on the collar-tie and he shoots in for a single-leg but Nolf shuts it down and they return to standing. Nolf hits a footsweep but Ruotolo bounces back up and they continue battling it out for an advantage on the feet. Nolf shoots in and Ruotolo locks up an arm-in guillotine straight away. Nolf is able to free his neck but he gives up enough space for Ruotolo to get back to his feet in the process. Nolf level-changes incredibly quick to pick up one of Ruotolo’s legs but he can’t put him on his back and he bounces up.

Nolf launches into a flying armbar but slips off Ruotolo, and Ruotolo is picking up the pace with a few footsweep attempts straight after. Although Ruotolo gets a quick shot off, Nolf sprawls and shuts it down. Nolf lands a big takedown of his own but he disengages and lets Ruotolo pop straight back up. Ruotolo is landing heavy collar-ties again and Nolf shoots in for a big double-leg takedown, but Ruotolo scrambles to his feet and forces Nolf to turtle. Ruotolo secures the crucifix and transitions to the reverse triangle choke, while Nolf tries to slam him into the wall. They drop to the mat but Ruotolo maintains control and squeezes hard for the finish, transitioning to an ankle-lock just as the time runs out.

Ruotolo starts out with heavy collar-ties again and both men are framing on each other’s faces to stifle their offense. Ruotolo uses an overhook to set up an ankle-pick but Nolf returns fire with a shot of his own. Ruotolo stuffs it and they trade hard footsweeps, picking the battle in the clinch back up again. Ruotolo jumps into a guillotine but he can’t secure it, and he shoots in straight after it. He’s met with a heavy sprawl and he tries to sit through, but the scramble sees Nolf end up on top. Ruotolo tries for a buggy choke but he can’t get it and he inverts to attack a kneebar, cranking it for a quick finish.

Roberto Jimenez vs Levi Jones-Leary
Jones-Leary sits to guard and immediately inverts to attack the back but Jimenez disengages to escape. Another inversion from Jones-Leary but Jimenez stays safe again and Jones-Leary transitions to the legs instead. He starts working to expose the heel from the saddle and bridges hard as soon as he gets it, with Jimenez being forced to tap shortly after.

Lucas ‘Hulk’ Barbosa vs Kenta Iwamoto
Barbosa and Iwamoto start fighting in the clinch and Barbosa is pressuring forward, working to push Iwamoto towards the walls as they battle for position. Iwamoto shoots for a double-leg but he’s met with a heavy sprawl and Barbosa collects one of Iwamoto’s legs in a cradle to put him on his back. Barbosa starts moving laterally to pass and he dives into a bodylock, but Iwamoto recovers closed guard. Barbosa stands up and Iwamoto opens his guard to attack, but Barbosa is so heavy on top that he’s shutting it down. Iwamoto tries to wrestle up off one attack and Barbosa shuts it down, but he gets to standing regardless and shoots soon after. Iwamoto exposes Barbosa’s back and maintains a rear-bodylock, jumping on to his back in a standing position as the round ends.

They clinch up again and both men have slowed a little, they’re putting in some gruelling work on the feet. The referee warns both men for stalling around the halfway mark of the round, and Barbosa starts feinting for shots soon after. He takes one shot but Iwamoto sprawls to deny it, and Iwamoto shoots himself immediately after. Iwamoto drives Barbosa to the wall and he gets his arms around both legs but Barbosa spins out and quickly counters to put Iwamoto on his back up against the wall. Iwamoto is able to create space and get his back off the wall, but Barbosa pressures in  and keeps him in bottom half-guard regardless. Barbosa stands up and tries a quick pass, but the round ends before either man can do anything else.

They work in the clinch again and Iwamoto tries an inside trip after a while, before choosing to pull guard instead. He transitions between several different half-guard variations but Barbosa is staying tight to him and shutting down the threat from every position. Iwamoto is eventually able to create space and stand back up but Barbosa gets a hold of him in the process and throws him toward the wall. Iwamoto stays on his feet and he shoots soon after, but Barbosa stuffs it and puts him on his back once again. Barbosa tries for a knee-slice pass and although he can’t get it, he’s able to flatten Iwamoto out. Iwamoto creates space and gets in on a leg, but there isn’t enough time left for him to do anything with it.

Varela and Chen clinch up for a short while but Varela shoots in for the first takedown attempt and scores pretty easily with it. Chen wrestles up and grabs an ankle, but he can’t keep Varela down and he opts to return to bottom position instead. Varela works his way towards a double-under pass but Chen prevents it and starts playing seated guard. Varela drops in for a quick pass but Chen counters with a beautiful sweep straight into side control. Varela reguards and tries to attack the legs but Chen stays safe, and Varela wrestles up instead. Chen disengages and pulls guard once Varela is up, and the round ends with Varela working to pass.

There’s another short battle in the clinch before Chen pulls guard, and Varela is engaging a little more cautiously this time. Chen wrestles up at around the halfway mark of the round and he works hard to finish the transition, putting Varela on his back. Chen is in the right position to work his trademark tripod passing and it isn’t long before he hits the knee-slice pass into side control. Chen keeps working and steps over into mount, but there isn’t much left on the clock and he steps off to maintain top position as the round ends.

Chen pulls guard immediately and after a brief pass attempt, Varela drops back on a leglock. Chen escapes and he wrestles up on a single-leg shortly after, but Varela shuts it down and Chen pulls guard in response. Varela disengages and Chen stands up, but not for long. Chen pulls guard and Varela sits back for a leglock again, but he isn’t close to getting it so he bails to standing. Varela tries a pair of high-amplitude passes but Chen deals with them pretty comfortably and returns to his feet. Varela shoots in for a double-leg and puts his opponent down, but disengages to pass from standing straight after. Chen stands up and starts handfighting, eventually shooting in to hit a takedown of his own and finishing out the round in top half-guard.

Jozef Chen defeats Andy Varela via Decision – Unanimous
Ruotolo gets a warning for a collar-tie that bordered on a strike early on, but the referee restarts them quickly. He drives Diniz to the wall and works at a frantic pace to finish the takedown, with Diniz landing pressed against the bottom of the wall. Ruotolo works to pass to mount but Diniz is able to get to deep half-guard and he uses it to create some space. Ruotolo drops in to a knee-slice pass but he can’t quite finish it as Diniz is able frame against him. Ruotolo backsteps into the saddle and attacks a straight ankle-lock on the far leg, forcing Diniz to tap with just a few seconds left in the round.

Renato Canuto vs Tommy Langaker
Both men start wrestling at a fast pace and Langaker tries for a footsweep but Canuto hits a quick takedown and takes up top position. Canuto is working to pass laterally but Langaker catches hold of an ankle and uses it to sweep him. Langaker secures side control and Canuto starts setting up a buggy choke, eventually using it to hit a reversal instead. Langaker takes rubber guard and attacks an omoplata, quickly wrestling up to hit a sweep when Canuto defends. Canuto reguards and attacks the leg but Langaker uses that to expose the back and eventually pass to side control, where he sees out the end of the round.

Langaker pulls guard and he’s working to attack the legs but Canuto deals with it comfortably and keeps up the work passing. Langaker eventually gets to K-guard and briefly attacks a triangle choke, but he uses the momentum of Canuto’s defense to hit a sweep. Canuto takes outside ashi but can’t expose the heel and Langaker maintains good balance to stay on top. Langaker eventually gets his pass and immediately sets up an arm-triangle choke, stepping off to the side and squeezing hard. Canuto turns to escape and gives up his back in the process, but he shrugs Langaker off and tries to cartwheel over his guard. He can’t secure a pass before the time runs out though and dives on a leglock as the buzzer sounds.

Langaker shoots early but can’t get in on Canuto’s hips and Canuto returns the favor but receives an accidental eyepoke in the process. They reset and a brief scramble ensues but they both return to standing again. Canuto shoots in and trips the leg to finish the takedown but Langaker sweeps him soon after and they both stand back up. Canuto leaps into a flying armbar and tries to attack the legs when it fails but Langaker defends well and counters by taking the back again. Langaker transitions to the arm-triangle choke in mount when Canuto defends and after a little while there, he sits off for an armbar. Canuto escapes and dives on the legs quickly, but there’s no time left in the round.

O’Flanagan sits to guard and hits a quick false reap entry to the saddle, working to separate the legs as Hage holds on. Hage tries to stand up but O’Flanagan exposes the heel in the process and Hage has to tap quickly.

Tackett snatches a single-leg early and puts Ryan down, but Ryan wrestles straight back up on a single-leg of his own and drives Tackett towards the wall. Tackett recovers and they meet back in the middle, with Ryan shooting in shortly after and transitioning to the legs when Tackett defends. Ryan goes for a straight ankle-lock but Tackett escapes and Ryan returns to standing, only for Tackett to hit a quick double-leg when he does. Tackett uses the wall to keep pressure up on Ryan and after a ton of work, he’s finally able to secure the pass to north-south. Ryan starts escaping but Ryan threatens a head and arm choke to get back to a dominant position. Ryan tries to wrestle up and gets met with a guillotine, but he escapes and they both stand up. Ryan tries to pull guard but Tackett passes to north-south immediately this time, and the round ends with him there.

Tackett shoots in immediately and drives Ryan straight to the wall, finishing the takedown there and landing in north-south. Tackett steps into mount comfortably and although Ryan does eventually recover, Tackett passes very quickly again and he’s back in north-south soon after. Tackett turns Ryan over to expose his back and gets both hooks in, transitioning to the body-triangle and digging for the rear-naked choke. Tackett switches off to the armbar but Ryan turns in, wrestles up, and snatches a front-headlock to threaten a guilotine. Tackett escapes and Ryan sits to guard but Tackett frontflips over him. He passes quickly side control and he rides out the last few seconds comfortably there.

Tackett takes him down quickly though and he passes to north-south once again, hunting the armbar soon after. Ryan escapes and Tackett tries to take his back again, with Ryan recovering guard this time. Another quick passing sequence and Tackett is back in north-south, transitioning between dominant positions for the next minute before he leaps into a peruvian necktie. Ryan escapes and comes up on top, looking for a leg entanglement as the round ends.

Jones-Leary drops to his back and Ruotolo attempts a flying D’arce choke but can’t quite get it. Jones-Leary inverts and Ruotolo latches on to a toehold that causes a reaction, and he gets back up on top. Ruotolo is working to pass laterally and Jones-Leary keeps inverting to retain guard, but it’s not slowing Ruotolo down. Jones-Leary inverts on the legsand gets a solid heel hook attempt, forcing Ruotolo to drop down and keep turning with the pressure to escape. Jones-Leary inverts for the back and Ruotolo attacks another toehold to stop him as the round ends.

Jones-Leary hits a sweep in the final seconds of the round and Ruotolo wrestles up quickly, but Jones-Leary pulls guard just before the buzzer sounds.

Jones-Leary retains guard well and they pick back up the same pattern they’ve been following throughout the match. Jones-Leary gets sight of Ruotolo’s back at one point but he can’t take it, and Ruotolo picks up the pace in his passing attempts. He exposes his back to Jones-Leary again in the process but manages to recover and then he does it on purpose to attempt a counter, but he drops to the ground in visible pain as the time runs out on the round.

The two men meet in the middle and start handfighting, with neither man willing to give anything away. Chen hits a slick armdrag that gives him access to Barbosa’s back and he rolls over the top of him to bring him to the mat, sliding one hook in. Barbosa gets his back to the mat to stop the second coming in but Chen takes top position anyway. Chen is alternating between pressure passing and speed passing to wear down Barbosa, but he can’t get through his guard. He keeps up the pace right the way through to the end of the round and finishes it in Barbosa’s guard.

They start handfighting again and both men are content to take their time in this round. Barbosa shoots after about a minute and a half but Chen stuffs it easily. Barbosa attempts an armdrag of his own but Chen anticipates it and manages to break the grip before Barbosa can use it for anything meaningful. Another shot from Barbosa is blocked but Chen is playing purely defensively, and he shuts down another shot from Barbosa just before the round ends.

Barbosa and Chen engage again, with Barbosa using great head-positioning to stifle Chen. Both men are given a warning for stalling just before the two-minute mark and that seems to push Chen to act. He shoots in and hits a slick duck-under to get to Barbosa’s back, chasing him when he rolls through. Barbosa escapes to a neutral standing position after a second roll and he attempts an armdrag but Chen shuts it down. Chen pulls guard and Barbosa starts to pass, before latching on to a knee-crush from the top. Barbosa cranks on it and Chen taps shortly after.

Kade Ruotolo vs Tommy Langaker
Ruotolo sprints out to Langaker’s side of the alley immediately and they lock up, with Ruotolo pushing right up the wall. Langaker recovers and the pace slows a little when they start battling in the clinch again. Langaker hits a quick takedown but Ruotolo counters with an omoplata that looks pretty deep, and it takes a lot for Langaker to escape. Ruotolo drives him to the wall again and Langaker jumps to closed guard, sliding down to the bottom of the wall. Ruotolo works to break it open and tries several different alternatives, including some rough can-openers. Langaker gets an underhook on one leg and forces a scramble in the dying seconds of the round.

Langaker gets his back to the mat but concedes the takedown in the process, and Ruotolo starts passing with side to side movement. Ruotolo gets around to north-south and Langaker tries to wrestle up but Ruotolo forces him to give up his back instead. Ruotolo switches to a seated head and arm choke and uses that threat to take Langaker’s back, locking up a rear-naked choke over his jaw. He squeezes but Langaker toughs it out and Ruotolo has to give up the submission attempt, losing back control just before the round ends.

Langaker turns towards him to escape and he attacks a leg but Ruotolo defends well and stays safe, with both men returning to standing. Langaker pulls guard after a while and Ruotolo reaches for a D’arce choke, but he can’t lock it up. Ruotolo latches on to a guillotine shortly after but he can’t finish that either and he finishes the round in top position.

O’Flanagan sits to guard and sets up a choi bar quickly but Tackett is able to escape. Tackett starts to pass but O’Flanagan gets in on a heel hook this time and forces several rolls by Tackett until he’s finally able to escape. Another submission attempt by O’Flanagan as he shoots his hips up for a triangle choke but Tackett uses that to pass his guard. He switches to north-south and almost takes O’Flanagan’s back but he recovers well. O’Flanagan inverts to attack the arm but Tackett is able to pass again and he settles into side control quickly. O’Flanagan does recover again though and he starts setting up an entry to the legs but Tackett disengages to escape. A quick pass works well for Tackett and he steps over into mount immediately after, finishing out the round there.

O’Flanagan pulls guard early again and Tackett starts circling to pass to north-south, before switching direction to get to side control. Tackett backs off when he feels threatened but it doesn’t take him long to pass again, securing side control for the second time in round 2. O’Flanagan reguards and Tackett passes again, shuffling back to north-south and stepping over into mount. O’Flanagan throws up a hail-mary ezekiel choke from the bottom and Tackett is unphased, but he does work his way back to guard shortly after. Tackett is pouring on the pressure again and the round ends with him still working his passing again.

Another guard-pull by O’Flanagan and he throws up a quick armbar that puts Tackett in serious danger. Tackett turns to escape and makes it out, passing and stepping over to mount as soon as he does. O’Flanagan works back to guard again but there’s another quick pass by Tackett, and he settles into north-south. O’Flanagan keeps working from the bottom and launches into a triangle choke as soon as he reguards, forcing Tackett to defend frantically for a second. O’Flanagan has a deep grip on the arm and he’s working to set something up, but Tackett breaks the grip and passes beautifully once again. More solid work to reguard from O’Flanagan but Tackett passes one more time before the round ends.

Barbosa drops in to pass low and gets deep on a double-under pass, but Jones-Leary starts working for an underhook to pull his arm in for a triangle choke. Jones-Leary gets the arm through but Barbosa quickly disengages to stay safe. He pressures back in and he’s working very fast to pass, but he can’t get anywhere with it before the round ends.

Jones-Leary sits to guard immediately again and Barbosa pressures in for a knee-slice pass. Barbosa is working hard but Jones-Leary is able to get an inversion again to get under his hips. Barbosa escapes and he dives back into passing, but has to make the same escape when Jones-Leary inverts again. Jones-Leary throws a leg over to get to rubber guard and Barbosa stays heavy, working his arm free to deal with the threat. Jones-Leary gets a K-guard entry and he sits Barbosa down, but Barbosa is able to escape again. He gets close to one more K-guard entry but the round ends immediately after.

Kade Ruotolo vs Andrew Tackett
Ruotolo charges forward and Tackett gets an underhook, working for a throw but Ruotolo counters him with a throw of his own. They disengage and run through the same sequence again, with both of them exchanging throws. Tackett drives Ruotolo into the wall and Ruotolo tries the same overhook throw that he used earlier, but Tackett takes his back this time. Tackett locks up a body-triangle and starts digging for the choke, getting very close but Ruotolo escapes and returns to his feet. Ruotolo tries an underhook of his own but Tackett counters and shoots straight after, with Ruotolo shutting it all down. Tackett goes for an underhook again and Ruotolo cranks on a standing mir lock, forcing him to disengage. Ruotolo lands a big takedown and takes top position, cranking on a can-opener and smothering him as the round ends.

Ruotolo hits a big throw and he starts shooting his arm in for a D’arce choke but Tackett keeps a strong underhook to defend against it. He engages again and Jones-Leary starts to use a de la riva hook to attack the legs, eventually getting a sweep out of it. Ruotolo dives on a triangle choke in the exchange and Jones-Leary escapes, ending up back on the bottom playing guard again. Jones-Leary threatens the legs again and Ruotolo backsteps, opening himself up to a kneebar that he has to sit in order to deal with. Ruotolo escapes and starts passing again but Jones-Leary is able to hit a K-guard entry that puts him in danger. Ruotolo sits down to address it and he pops back up to try a knee-slice pass when he’s free.

Rodriguez scrambles back up off the wall and they resume their fight in the clinch. Rodriguez shoots for a low single-leg but Gimenis defends and launches him almost completely out of the alley. Rodriguez slides down the wall and scrambles to his feet again. After a little more time in the clinch, Gimenis is given a warning for stalling and the first round winds down shortly after.

Livesey shoots in for a double-leg but Aly backs away to shut it down. Aly attempts another throw but Livesey counters immediately and puts him on his back, only for Aly to wrestle up on a single-leg immediately. A quick throw attempt from Aly and he finds his way to Livesey’s back while standing, breaking him down but not long before the round ends.

Boehm sits him down but he can’t expose the heel and Bradley strips the grips to escape, but as soon as he steps in to guard his leg is under threat again. Boehm is working for a Caio Terra footlock but Bradley is really calm and collected, staying safe and trying to get his passing game going. Boehm tries the Terra footlock again and throws his leg over the top to reap when Bradley defends. They trade heelhook attempts before they disconnect and Bradley takes top position again, but the clock winds down there.

Bradley gets his closest look at a pass in the match so far but he can’t secure it and he’s back to working from in Boehm’s guard again. Rockhold works his way to the feet but Downey hits a quick throw-by straight into the wall and grabs Rockhold’s legs for an easy takedown. Downey starts reaching for a bodylock again and Rockhold is pressed against the wall, unable to use it to stand up. He almost gets up but Downey drags him back down and almost steps into mount. Rockhold recovers and uses an elevation from butterfly guard to return to standing, but Downey drives him into the corner and up the wall again. They get reset as Rockhold is touches the top and Downey drives him into the wall for yet another takedown, with Rockhold scrambling back to his feet just as the round ends.

Rockhold creates space but he’s content to stay on his back, Downey doesn’t engage again so the referee stands them up. They start working in the clinch and Downey hits a lovely takedown, keeping control of one of Rockhold’s legs to secure it just before the round ends.

Alex eventually works his way to his feet and after a little more time in the clinch, Alex is on the receiving end of an eyepoke. The referee stops the action and after a little time to recover, they restart and the clock runs out with them on the feet.

Kerkvliet goes for a little wristlock that forces Andrew to open his closed guard and he uses the break to stand up. Kerkvliet drops back to his knees to pass but Andrew shoots for a triangle choke again, getting Kerkvliet’s arm fully out this time. Kerkvliet postures up hard and shrugs Andrew’s legs off him, finishing the round trying to pass Andrew’s guard on his knees.

Tackett uses K-guard to attack the legs but Rocha escapes to standing. The pace slows a little and Rocha hits a quick throw, but Tackett recovers and turns into a single-leg, using it to expose Rocha’s back. Rocha gets his back to the mat and stiff-arms Tackett away in order to stand up. Rocha charges forward and they clash heads as he pushes Tackett into the wall, so the referee resets them. Tackett hits a big takedown immediately off the reset and drops back to attack the legs, but Rocha escapes. Rocha pressures down from top position and slows Tackett down, with the match ending there.

He keeps shifting his weight to try and get his grip around Tackett’s neck instead of his jaw but he can’t sink it in enough to submit Tackett before the time runs out.

Livesey turns away from him to stand and Rodriguez rolls through to try and take the back, eventually working his first hook in. Rodriguez sinks the second hook in and flattens Livesey out, immediately locking up the rear-naked choke for the finish.

Bradley opens his guard and Downey stands up, throwing Bradley’s legs to the side to try and pass straight to north-south. Bradley recovers and they get reset to the feet, with Bradley pulling guard early on. Downey latches on to a modified Anaconda choke and starts cranking on it hard, applying a ton of pressure but he isn’t able to finish it and the round ends shortly after.

Another inversion leads to another triangle choke attempt, and Kanard chains it into a K-guard entry, but Santos steps out and disengages. Kanard inverts to chase the back again but Santos sits down to deal with it and Kanard comes up for a sweep just before the round ends.

Rocha counters with another uchi mata and puts Andrew down, but Andrew shoots his legs up for a triangle choke. Andrew transitions from choke to armbar and then to attacking the back, but Rocha shakes him off. Andrew inverts and works his way into reverse closed guard, eventually transitioning to outside ashi and going for the straight ankle-lock. Rocha stays calm and escapes, but Andrew finds his way back to the same attack and cranks on it hard. Rocha defends and returns to passing, with the round coming to an end shortly after.

Andrew pulls guard and he starts attacking the leg, but bails on it when Rocha is able to stay heavy on top. Andrew latches on to a kimura grip at one point and tries to use it to set up another triangle choke, but Rocha defends and tips him over to pass. Andrew wrestles up on the single-leg and disengages, before shooting in and pulling guard when it fails. Andrew gets an entry to the legs but he can’t secure a bite on the ankle and Rocha disengages, dropping back in to pass guard low. Andrew latches on to a straight anke-lock and cranks it belly down, but he can’t finish it before the time runs out.

Nicky Rodriguez vs Adam Bradley
They meet in the middle and both men are working for dominant position in the clinch, but Bradley pulls guard just before the first minute is up. Rodriguez stays tight to him and starts working for a bodylock, but Bradley does a good job of preventing him from properly locking up his hands. Rodriguez does eventually get there though and he transitions to a crossface, using it to flatten Bradley out in half-guard shortly before the round comes to an end.

Bradley shoots slowly and Rodriguez stuffs it, forcing him to his back in guard. Rodriguez connects his hands quickly this time and he goes straight to that flattened-out half-guard position that he’s been looking for, passing to mount from there. Rodriguez starts working on an arm-triangle choke but Bradley escapes, and Rodriguez picks up where he left off in mount. Rodriguez steps over into a triangle choke and he tries to finish it on the side but Bradley is able to survive and escape to his feet. Rodriguez hits a quick double-leg and gets that bodylock again, using it to expose Bradley’s back and he ends the round in control on top.

They lock up early and Rodriguez drives Bradley to the pit wall in order to hit a quick takedown. Rodriguez uses the bodylock to pass soon after and he starts smothering Bradley from top side control, making things very difficult for him. Rodriguez steps over into mount and starts separating one of Bradley’s elbows from his body, eventually taking the back when Bradley defends. Rodriguez locks up the choke quickly and squeezes to get the finish.

Inacio Santos vs Fellipe Andrew
They tie up in the clinch and Santos snatches a single-leg, but Andrew tries to counter with takedown of his own. Andrew gets driven up the wall but he does an amazing job of running around the wall to defend the takedown from Santos. Andrew sits to guard and he gets in on the legs early, attacking the straight ankle-lock and transitioning to a calf-slicer when Santos turns away. Andrew climbs up to the back and Santos stands to defend but Andrew drops in to 50/50 and starts exposing the heel. Santos turns and hits the wall, but it’s enough room for him get his knee-line mostly free, and Santos scrambles back to his feet. Andrew sits to guard and Santos starts passing, but Andrew wrestles up just as the round ends.

Santos hits a quick duck-under and gets in on the single-leg but Andrew sprawls and takes the front-headlock to control him. Andrew snaps him down to the ground and spins round to his back, putting in the first hook and scrambling with Santos before landing in mount. Santos shrimps to escape and works his way back to half-guard, but Andrew starts attacking a reverse triangle choke when he tries to wrestle up. Andrew rolls him to his back to try to finish the choke but Santos escapes and immediately shoots, driving Andrew up the wall and landing the takedown. Andrew scrambles to his feet but Santos walks him up the wall and hits another takedown. Andrew hits an entry to backside 50/50 and exposes the heel immediately, bridging to get the tap with just seconds left of the round.

They start standing for a moment before Andrew pulls guard and Rodriguez steps around him, latching on to a rear-bodylock and following Andrew with it. Andrew hits a quick switch and escapes, but he ends up back on the bottom playing guard again. Rodriguez secures a bodylock and forces his way to half-guard, stepping over to side control shortly after and forcing Andrew to turtle. Rodriguez sinks both hooks in and locks up the rear-naked choke, squeezing with everything he has to get the tap.

Craig Jones vs Gabi Garcia
Jones fakes a handshake and shoots but Garcia sprawls, with Jones working his way to guard and turning away. Garcia latches on to a bodylock and Jones rolls through to attack the legs, but Garcia stays heavy to prevent him from getting under her. Jones shoots his legs up for a triangle choke but releases it shortly after and Garcia pressures forward tight to him. Jones hits a quick reversal and he’s in top half-guard, so he turns away and tries a berimbolo to take the back. Garcia recovers and Jones steps over her guard, but she attacks an ankle-lock to make him back away. Jones escapes and steps over her guard again, this time exposing her back and doing a chair-sit to get his hooks in. Jones tries for the armbar briefly but Garcia gets her back to the mat, and he drops into a leg-drag position. Garcia goes to outside ashi and tries for a toehold but Jones hits a wedging back-take to the truck. Jones takes top position and tries to step over into mount again but Garcia hits a reversal just before the round ends.

Jones tries an Imanari roll but Garcia sprawls, and he hits a reversal to take top position. He rolls through for the back and gets to the truck again, isolating the arm and pulling it behind himself to set up a twister. Jones starts cranking harder on it but he slips off and transitions to a calf-slicer, but he abandons it in favor of getting his hooks in. He tries a rear-naked choke for a while but Garcia doesn’t tap and he attacks the legs instead, torquing on a heel hook. Garcia shakes her head and doesn’t tap, so Jones lets up and Garcia attacks an ankle-lock of her own. Jones escapes and takes her back again, sinking in a rear-naked choke under the jaw this time and forcing the tap.

Ffion Davies vs Mackenzie Dern
Both women rush forward to meet in the middle and Davies drives Dern to the wall quickly, taking her down off it. Dern is sat with her back to the wall and she starts to wrestle up, using that space to turn away from the wall. Davies starts applying pressure from the top and she glides through Dern’s guard, pummelling her legs to get to side control. Davies tries to attack the arm but Dern stays safe and ends up working her way back to half-guard too. Dern reaches for an underhook and works her knee-shield back in to create space, but Davies does a good job of keeping her on her back. Davies drops in for a quick knee-slice pass, and she takes a seatbelt control to slide both hooks in when Dern tries to escape. There’s no time left for Davies to finish though and the rounds end with her in back control.
