By the looks of things, it won’t be long before Craig Jones is able to open up his new gym, B-Team Jiu-Jitsu, in Austin, Texas. The facilities aren’t quite open to the public just yet but Jones has given the very first look at the gym to CountFilms, who’ve uploaded the tour to their official YouTube channel. It is worth noting as well that this won’t just be the home gym of the Australian phenom, but it’s already been revealed as the base for several other elite grapplers like Nicky Rodriguez, Nicky Ryan, and Ethan Crelinsten.

It’s a smart move on all of their parts to get their gym up and running as soon as possible, as Gordon Ryan revealed that he too would be opening up a gym in Austin, Texas. Of course, there’s been no indication that the Danaher Death Squad splitting in half is anything less than an amicable breakup but that doesn’t mean that either side wants to lose out on potential profits and students to the other. With Gordon Ryan’s gym featuring Garry Tonon and John Danaher as well, the competition in Austin will be incredibly tight.

Ever since John Danaher first revealed that the Danaher Death Squad were splitting up, fans have been curious to see what this will mean for those who will no longer be training with the former Renzo Gracie New York head coach. Craig Jones was almost immediately open about the fact that his Jiu-Jitsu gym will be called the B-Team but given the Australian’s penchant for jokes on social media, not many will have taken him seriously until now.
