Ben Askren Thinks Dillon Danis Is “Kind Of A P***y”

Ben Askren and Dillon Danis have a long history of clashing on social media and in various interviews that either fighter has given. The pair of fighters have both competed for Bellator and have both made appearances at the ADCC World Championships but have never managed to do either at the same time. Askren made an attempt at ADCC 2009 before spending three years as Bellator Welterweight World Champion and then moving over to rule the ONE FC Welterweight division, retiring, then making a three-fight comeback in the UFC cage before retiring from MMA again, this time for good.

While Askren was running the show at Bellator, Danis was still competing as a BJJ purple belt and was several years away from his first attempt at an ADCC world title. No doubt, Askren has significantly much more competitive experience than Danis both in MMA and in grappling in general, he even references this the below interview. As he points, Danis has only competed in the Bellator cage twice over the past three years and wasn’t interested in taking up a boxing match with Jake Paul. Askren on the other hand was more than happy to take up the interesting challenge that Paul offered and has been seen preparing for his professional boxing debut for quite some time.

The comments came when Ben Askren made an appearance on Logan Paul’s podcast, Impaulsive, and the excerpt where the pair discussed Dillon Danis can be seen below, courtesy of the official YouTube Channel of Impaulsive Clips:
