The AJP has just revealed the Abu Dhabi Grand Slam Tour 2021/2022 schedule and it includes several brand new locations that the illustrious event has never visited before. Last year was of course very hectic for the promotion with a constant barrage of last-minute changes due to the increasingly unpredictable pandemic, but they’ve decided to commit to a full lineup of events for the upcoming 2021/2022 season. The season will run from August 2021 all the way through to May 2022 and will span across five continents and seven different cities, some for the very first time.

As always with the event, there will be total prize of money just shy of a quarter of a million dollars available for each and every edition, coming in at $225,000. That makes a total of $1,575,000 available for Jiu-Jitsu athletes across the world over the course of this season, something no other promotion ever manages to match. This is one of the main reasons that the Abu Dhabi Grand Slam tour regularly attracts some of the top Jiu-Jitsu talent on the planet, and it looks as though the 2021/2022 season will be no exception.
