AIGA have just announced that Season 3 of the AIGA Champions League in 2024 will now have an incredible $1 million in prize money available for the grapplers competing in it. The promotion has made the announcement before their second season has even finished, and they already put a huge effort into making this one significantly bigger than the one before. Things looked promising from the start when they brought over B-Team Jiu-Jitsu to compete in the first quarter-final of the second season, but they’ve put even more promotional muscle behind the event since then.

For their second quarter-final in 2023, AIGA managed to get Mo Jassim to put together one of the best teams ever seen. The ADCC head organizer convinced several of the best grapplers on the planet to join forces under the banner of Team Modolfo in order to take to the mats. It a real treat to see such a high level of grappling in action, but it was even more interesting to see that those elite competitors actually lost some matches and Team Modolfo didn’t make it through undefeated.

Now the announcement of $1 million in prize money for Season 3 of the AIGA Champions League will no doubt attract even more high-level teams to compete in the event. Not just that, but the promotion is looking to expand it’s reach by holding qualifying rounds across several different countries as well. These huge developments bode really well for the future of the AIGA Champions League and if the promotion can keep up the momentum then they could become one of the top professional grappling promotions in the world in a pretty short space of time.

AIGA announced the news that Season 3 of their Champions League tournament in 2024 will have $1 million in prize money available in a recent post to their official Instagram account:
