ADXC 8 took place on December 6th, 2024 and the promotion put together a great card that delivered plenty of action, even if there weren’t many submission finishes. The only finishes of the night actually came in the children’s matches, and the rest of the preliminary card went on without a single submission win. Most of the attention was on the main card of course, and Maria Delahaye kicked it off with an impressive decision win over Brenda Larissa. The next match actually involved one of the biggest names of the entire card, as Movlid Khaybulaev was up against popular Bellator MMA veteran James Gallagher.
Khaybulaev won a unanimous decision in that match, and Khaled Alshehhi followed suit in the next match with a huge win over Thalison Soares by decision. That led straight into one of the two main events of the evening, and it was the one with the most successful BJJ competitors involved. Roberto ‘Cyborg’ Abreu got revenge against Haisam Rida for his loss against him in their last match, although this was also one of the closer matches of the evening. Cyborg won a split decision, and the final match of the night saw Jafel Filho beating Amir Albazi by unanimous decision.
