The ADCC North American West Coast Trials 2024 took place across March 30th and 31st, 2024 and the results featured many of the best grapplers from across the continent. There were 8 invites to ADCC 2024 on the line as the winners of each division guaranteed themselves a place in the world’s most prestigious no gi grappling tournament. B-Team Jiu-Jitsu stuck true to their name, with three of their competitors reaching the final and leaving with a silver medal in their respective divisions. There were both upsets and predictable winners, and the winners all had to make it through a gauntlet of some of the toughest matches of their careers.

Deandre Corbe emerged victorious in the under 66kg division despite having one of the most challenging brackets, including a semi-final match against his own brother. Both the under 77kg and under 88kg weight classes were equally stacked with top talent, but the young brothers Andrew Tackett and William Tackett won the respective divisions. Michael Pixley put in the performance of a lifetime in the under 99kg division, securing another place at ADCC 2024 for the team at Pedigo Submission Fighting. The final men’s champion was Michael Perez, who moved up in weight to over 99kg and still managed to come away with the coveted invite.

The women’s divisions were just as stacked with elite competitors thanks to their being invites available there as well, and all three of them were won by newcomers. Jasmine Rocha had to get past some of the best grapplers in the world at under 55kg and she still managed to come away with the win, although the other divisions weren’t any easier. Helena Crevar had her breakthrough moment at under 65kg and secured her invite to ADCC 2024, while the over 65kg division saw Elizabeth Mitrovic earn the biggest title of her career so far.
