There was some memorable moments at the ADCC Atlantic City Open 2024, as the promotion made another stop on their world tour on February 10th, 2024. There was several top competitors spread throughout the divisions, including an appearance from an ADCC bronze and silver medalist; Vagner Rocha. He won the under 91kg division and he wasn’t even the only ADCC veteran who made an appearance at the tournament. John Combs won gold in a stacked 83kg division, while Gianni Grippo actually had to settle for a silver medal at 70kg after losing to Deandre Corbe in the final.
Deandre’s brother Gavin Corbe also went home with a gold medal in the under 76kg division, while Estevan Martinez stood on top of the podium at under 60kg. The women’s divisions had just as much talent involved as well, with the top contenders from New Wave Jiu-Jitsu both entering the tournament. Helena Crevar won gold at under 70kg and Trinity Pun won gold at under 60kg, while other talented female grapplers emerged victorious in the other divisions. The under 55kg division was won by Cindy Ung, while Bridget McEliece won a pair of gold medals in the absolute and the over 70kg division.
