ADCC has just announced a brand new Brazilian Open event and the tournament will take place in July, 2023. This is the latest in a series of announcements that the promotion has made about their upcoming slate of ADCC Open events, tournaments that aim to give competitors a greater number of opportunities to compete under the unique ADCC ruleset. As with all of the ADCC Open events that have been scheduled in the near-future, this will be available to watch live and for replay on UFC Fight Pass.

This is the latest announcement in a series of exciting ones to come from ADCC, as the organization is really kicking their schedule into high-gear and working hard to bring their ruleset to every corner of the world. While they were obviously going to have a strong presence across the US, the revelation that they would be staging their first tournament in Canada was met with a very warm welcome by competitors in the country. ADCC also announced that they would be continuing their domination of North America by taking on the other major country in the continent too.

ADCC also announced their first Mexico Open and the tournament attracted several top competitors. The results were obvious almost immediately and after the resounding success of the Mexico event, ADCC confirmed that they would keep a big presence in the country by hosting another three more tournaments that would take place there before the end of 2023. Now that the ADCC Brazilian Open has been added to the promotion’s 2023 schedule, competitors in South America will be able to join in the fun too. It’s an exciting time for fans of ADCC too, as they’ll now have more opportunities than ever before to watch competitors battle it out under the famous ruleset.

The first ADCC Brazilian Open for 2023 was announced in a recent post to the promotion’s official Instagram account:
