The Abu Dhabi Grand Slam Tour – Moscow 2024 took place on September 1st, 2024 and there were several elite black belts who were included in the results. The latest major event in the AJP Tour calendar gives competitors another opportunity to win prize money and rack up points to climb the promotion’s global ranking. Khaled Alshehhi put on a particularly impressive performance in a tough featherweight division to win gold, while Jefferson Goteu had similar success at welterweight. Uanderson Ferreira was another big name competing in the event, and he had a superb run in the middleweight division without getting a point scored against him.
The heavier weight classes were also won by top competitors too, as Henrique Betta stood on top of the podium at heavyweight and Felipe Bezerra won one of the toughest brackets in the entire event at super-heavyweight. There were less competitors in the women’s brackets but there were some equally tough matchups regardless. Diana Teixeira won the roosterweight division after submitting the same opponent twice, giving a flawless performance in both matches. Julia Alves won the biggest women’s division at lightweight, and she had to beat two opponents in order to do so. There was plenty of action in every division, and a lot of high-level grappling for fans in Moscow to watch.
