Who’s Number One 29 took place on July 25th, 2025 and the promotion put together another great night of matches, even if there were no title-fights this time around. 13 year-old Joslyn Molina was the youngest competitor to ever have an adult WNO match and she clearly deserved the opportunity, as she got the first submission win of the night by catching Amy Grande with a Ruotolotine on the preliminary card. MMA veteran Gesias Cavalcante was up next headlining the prelims and he actually managed to get the fastest finish of the night when heel hooked Jake O’Driscoll after just 88 seconds of action.
The main card started with a pair of decisions but Roosevelt Sousa got things back on track with a toehold finish against Igor Tanabe, proving once again that he’s one of the best heavyweights in the world. The next match was put together on very short notice, as Max Hanson stepped in to replace Owen Jones against veteran competitor Gianni Grippo. Both men had their turns working their guard-passing and it was a very close match, but Hanson came away with the decision win and then used his post-match interview to challenge Jones for a match in his next appearance.
Roberto Jimenez put on an excellent performance in the next match, wearing Ryan Aitken down and passing his guard several times to win an important light-heavyweight match. That led into the co-main event of the evening, where Adele Fornarino hit a counter leglock on Jasmine Rocha and appeared to cause an injury with the brutal ankle-lock. The main event was a matchup between two popular veterans, Vagner Rocha and Kit Dale, and they engaged in a very tough battle all the way to the end. Rocha built up an early lead with success on the feet and top pressure but Dale came close with some passing attempts towards the end, it just wasn’t enough to overturn Rocha’s early work and Rocha won the decision.
