UFC veteran Merab Dvalishvili is set to take on Darren Branch in the main event of High Rollerz 23 on January 21st, 2023. This will be far from the first time that Dvalishvili has competed in a professional grappling match, as he also fought Kevin Dantzler in the main event of Fury Pro Grappling 2 as well. Dvalishvili is a veteran of several different combat sports rulesets too, he’s not just an MMA fighter who decided to dabble in Jiu-Jitsu. He has a wealth of experience in both Wrestling and Judo, and even took home a silver medal in the 2019 Combat Sambo World Championships.
This makes Dvalishvili an incredibly tough opponent to prepare for, as he is able to mix a wide variety of grappling styles together in order to emerge victorious. Dvalishvili has also managed to put together a very impressive professional MMA resume over the years as well. He currently holds a 15-4 record and is riding an eight-fight winning streak that dates back to 2018. Over the course of his UFC career, Dvalishvili has managed to beat some incredible names like Jose Aldo, John Dodson, and Marlon Moraes.
Shortly before Merab Dvalishvili takes on Darren Branch in the main event of High Rollerz 23, the promotion will also be staging its very first wrestling tournament. The wrestlers competing in the tournament will battle it out over the day before in order to determine who makes it to the finals, and those matches will then serve as the preliminary card for High Rollerz 23. In between those finals and the main event, there will also be a number of other grappling matches between experienced BJJ competitors.
