UFC Fight Pass Invitational 11 took place on May 29th, 2025 and there was plenty of amazing highlights among the night’s results. There was fun matches throughout the card, but it was all building up to their first ever female main event between Ffion Davies and Adele Fornarino. That was a landmark moment for the promotion and a long-awaited rematch between two of the best female grapplers in the world but before that, there was plenty more high-level grapplers waiting. The promotion was making use of a brand new ruleset as well, with all matches taking place over three five-minute rounds in an attempt to push the pace as much as possible.
There was a pair of short-notice matches added to the card, with the first one between Danny Maira and Joao Assonitis opening the show. Both men came out hunting for leglocks right from the start and although they made it through the first round unscathed, Assonitis found the heel hook finish in round two. The next match was over much quicker, as it took Keven Carrasco less than two minutes to lock up a triangle choke on Sebastian Oyervidez. He had it on tight and switched to a gable-grip behind the head in order to finish with the rarely-seen Teepee choke instead.
The next match was the second late addition, as Jasmine Rocha had to withdraw from the event when she was hospitalised during her weight-cut. The promotion managed to keep her opponent on the card with a replacement on just a day’s notice, as Shye Lilly stepped up to face Alex Enriquez. Lilly put up a great fight but Enriquez won the first round cleanly and found the finish in the second by chaining together attacks until she locked up an armbar. Francisco Lo was up next against Enrico Said and although Lo was the early fablrite, Said put on an excellent performance and took it all the way to the judges’ scorecards; where it was ruled a draw.
Mason Fowler and Christiano Troisi took to the mats as the event reached the second half, and Fowler was in perfect form. He passed Troisi’s guard immediately after the guard-pull and attempted an armbar from the top, but lost position in the process. He then submitted Troisi with an omoplata shortly afterward, getting the finish in under four minutes. William Tackett got the quickest finish of the night though, as he took just 38 seconds to find the back and sink in the rear-naked choke against Achilles Rocha. That led directly into the co-main event, bringing crazy energy into the final two matches of the night.
Raquel Canuto was taking on her toughest test yet on the UFC Fight Pass Invitational mats, as she was up against reigning ADCC world champion Ana Vieira. The match was largely contested on the feet and Vieira won most of those exchanges, along with a pair of guillotine attempts that appeared to win her the decision. Then there was another decision in the main event, but it was a much closer match from start to finish. Adele Fornarino played guard for the majority of it and Ffion Davies was unable to pass at any point. The most significant action of the match was a deep Aoki lock attempt by Fornarino in the second round, but Davies got the split decision for her passing attempts in the other two rounds.
