UFC BJJ 4 took place on December 11th, 2025 and the promotion managed to put together three title-fights for it, with each one delivering excellent results. UFC veteran Jussier Formiga got a pretty big upset in the first match of the night, when he came back from a tough opening round to win the next two and beat Lucas Pinheiro by decision. Landon Elmore was up next and he secured the quickest finish of the whole event, submitting Nathan Hernandez with an Aoki lock in just 42 seconds. He wasn’t the only young prospect competing at UFC BJJ 4 though, as Bella Mir got a decision win over Rana Willink in the very next match.
Andy Varela got the next finish after that; when Robbie Malof was visibly injured in the first round and couldn’t do anything to stop him from locking up a heel hook later on. There was another series of decisions after that and each one was won by the favorite, with Dorian Olivarez and Mayssa Bastos winning their debuts and Renato Canuto bouncing back with a win of his own. That led into the most hotly-anticipated matches of the whole card, the three title-fights that were capping it off. The first saw UFC BJJ crown their very first female champion, with the inaugural featherweight title being put on the line.
It didn’t take long at all for Aurelie Le Vern to win the title either, as she was aggressive right from the start. She pressured forward and drove Raquel Canuto into the wall, taking her down and quickly locking up a reverse triangle choke. From there she attacked a kimura on the free arm, cranking it until Canuto was forced to tap. Ronaldo Junior was utterly dominant in the next match, beating William Tackett in all three rounds and winning a clear cut decision that two judges even scored as 30-24 to become the middleweight champion.
Then in the main event, the promotion’s reigning welterweight champion Andrew Tackett was attempting to defend his title once again. He’s been the most active competitor on the UFC BJJ roster so far and he was booked in another tough matchup against Elijah Dorsey. Dorsey clearly planned out the match very well, as he took the fight to Tackett right from the start. Tackett got the takedown but Dorsey was able to stifle him from guard, transitioning to the legs and almost getting a bite on the heel early on. He did manage to get one shortly after but Tackett was able to counter with a heel hook of his own, securing the finish to remain the champion.
