UFC BJJ 4 is scheduled for December 11th, 2025 and we’ve put together a full preview of every match on the card, including all three title-fights. Although they’re the biggest draw and the final matches of the night, there’s plenty of exciting bouts before that. Andrew Tackett is defending his welterweight title in the main event, and the other two title-fights are for vacant belts. The older Tackett brother is competing in the co-main event right before that, as William is facing Ronaldo Junior for the middleweight belt. Outside of those two matches, UFC BJJ will also be crowning their first ever female champion when Aurelie Le Vern and Raquel Canuto battle it out at featherweight.
UFC BJJ 4 Full Card Preview
Andrew Tackett vs Elijah Dorsey – Welterweight Championship
Andrew Tackett has quickly become the posterboy for UFC BJJ and it isn’t just because he’s been winning; he’s been doing so in pretty dominant fashion too. Elijah Dorsey is coming straight into this title-shot in his first appearance for the promotion and although the pit will be a brand new experience for him, he’s just as successful as Tackett in general. Tackett has an advantage on the feet that will likely allow him to dictate where the match plays out and although Dorsey has a great guard, Tackett’s passing is among the best in the world. Tackett is the favorite to win this and if he can wear Dorsey down over a few rounds then he will likely find the finish too.
William Tackett vs Ronaldo Junior – Middleweight Championship
William Tackett now has the chance to join his younger brother as a UFC BJJ champion and although Andrew has been getting a lot of hype lately, William has been winning at this level for much longer. He’s very difficult to submit and very well-rounded; with the ability to finish opponents from pretty much everywhere. Ronaldo Junior might not be as prolific in terms of submission finishes but he’s an excellent tactician and always finds a way to win. This is a pretty tough match to predict because Junior can definitely stifle Tackett and win a decision, but Tackett only needs one good look to end the match. It could go either way, but Tackett is the slight favorite.
Raquel Canuto vs Aurelie Le Vern – Featherweight Championship
Raquel Canuto might have originally used her Jiu-Jitsu to succeed as an MMA fighter but she’s delivered some great results since focusing on grappling. She went on an amazing run during her time with UFC Fight Pass Invitational and that has only continued since they made the transition to UFC BJJ. She’s been competing at this level a lot longer than Aurelie Le Vern, but Le Vern has quickly proved that she belongs over the last two years. She’s on a great run and it wouldn’t be surprising to see her come away with the win, but the veteran Canuto is still the favorite.
Mayssa Bastos vs Amanda ‘Tubby’ Alequin
Mayssa Bastos is one of the best female Jiu-Jitsu competitors in the world and she’s beaten pretty much everyone in her weight class over the last few years. In fact, she already holds a win over Amanda ‘Tubby’ Alequin from back in 2023 too. Bastos is a phenomenal guard-player and even half a look at someone’s back is enough for her to get the finish. Alequin has a great guard too but she’ll likely end up having to play from top position here, and Bastos is the favorite as a result.
Renato Canuto vs Alan Sanchez
This is a match that’s flying under the radar a little bit but it should be pretty exciting, as is almost any match that Renato Canuto is involved in. He’s pretty well-rounded and has a solid standing grappling game, along with the ability to attack armbars from everywhere. Alan Sanchez is a bit more focused on leg-attacks and could put Canuto in danger there; but he also has a good guillotine that Canuto needs to be wary of at the same time. If it goes to decision then Canuto should win it, but Sanchez is going to be a constant threat and may well find the finish at some point.
Samuel Nagai vs Dorian Olivarez
Samuel Nagai is an excellent grappler but he’s generally more focused on gi competition and he’s had much more success there than in no gi so far. He’s been given a very tough challenge here too, as Dorian Olivarez has had some excellent results over the last few years. He’s one of the top young contenders in the sport and he’s shown an incredibly high level in some matches, particularly when it comes to passing guard. The most likely outcome here is that Olivarez maintains a high pace and puts enough pressure on Nagai opto either win a decision or submit him late in the match.
Andy Varela vs Robby Malof
Robby Malof is a solid competitor both in MMA and in grappling, winning a number of smaller-scale events and even IBJJF majors in the masters division. His big advantage against Andy Varela is that he should be completely unphased by Varela’s rougher style. Normally that’s how competitors are able to succeed against Varela, but Varela will likely have a bit of a technical advantage to fall back on. They will probably battle it out on the feet for extended portions of the match and look fairly even there, but Varela is the favorite to win.
Bella Mir vs Rana Willink
This is a fun matchup between two exciting young grapplers who both have famous surnames, with Bella Mir and Rana Willink both finding Jiu-Jitsu thanks to their fathers. Willink has been steadily building up a good resume recently, but Mir is one of the top MMA prospects in the country. She competes regular in MMA and wrestling, and that shows in her style when she competes in Jiu-Jitsu too. Willink is a great leglocker so that makes this an interesting stylistic matchup; where a single good entry might be all she needs to submit Mir but without that, Mir should win the decision.
Landon Elmore vs Nate Hernandez
Nate Hernandez is an exciting young competitor but Landon Elmore is one of the most exciting teenagers coming up in the sport right now. Hernandez has a little bit more experience but that probably isn’t going to be much of a factor, as Elmore has been beating black belts for a while now. EBI 25 was Elmore’s big breakthrough moment and he showed that he can submit some of the best in the world there, so he should be able to do the same against Hernandez.
Lucas Pinheiro vs Jussier Formiga
Jussier Formiga is a UFC veteran and he was a submission specialist during his MMA career, but he’s also turned 40 just a few months ago and in a very competitive weight class. He’s been given a very unforgiving matchup too, as Lucas Pinheiro is almost 10 years younger than Formiga and has won world titles in both gi and no gi. Pinheiro doesn’t have a particularly high finishing-rate but he shouldn’t be in too much danger here, so he should be able to win a decision over Formiga.
