Midwest Finishers 22 is scheduled for September 27th, 2025 and the promotion has announced a pair of exciting tournaments for the event. There are 8 featherweight women battling it out for $1,500 and 16 light-heavyweight men are facing off with $2,500 on the line, but there’s elite competitors in both divisions. The men’s division has one very clear top contender in it, as ADCC veteran Ryan Aitken will be entering the bracket. Aitken has already proven himself at the highest level of the sport and he has even won several major events, like the absolute championship at EBI 21 and the light-heavyweight week-long war at PGF Season 7.
That doesn’t mean it’s going to be easy for him though, as he’s got some tough opponents waiting for him. Abraham La Montagne and Brad Schneider will probably be the biggest challenges he’ll have to overcome, but veteran competitor Kyle Myers would also be a great matchup. These men are the most likely to make it to the semi-finals and beyond, but the rest of the field are all more than capable of causing an upset. Completing the lineup is Jordan Butler, Dakota Schlenk, Justin Coggins, Giuseppe Lamanna, Eldin Music, Trent Creech, Nick Curran, Davonte McClam, Matt Cantwell, Calvin Tracey, Sal Zepherin, and Jack Kuivanen.
The women’s division is half the size, and the competition is much closer on paper. Beatrice Jin is probably the most accomplished woman in the bracket but Maka Vickers has had some great performances lately and is even coming in straight off winning the featherweight title at the PGF Season 8 finale. Charlsey Maner and Jessica Collette will be flying the 10th Planet flag in the division, while the other 4 women are all coming from different directions. Samantha Parker, Irene Serrano, Camila Estrada, and Autumn Mowery are the final competitors involved and each one of them could walk away with the title if things go their way.
The full Midwest Finishers 22 live event, including both of the above tournaments and several superfights, will be available to watch on the promotion’s official YouTube channel.
