The ADCC Dallas Open 2025 took place on June 14th, 2025 and there were quite a few veterans and rising stars hitting the mats. Top young prospect Michael Sainz had a good run with 4 wins at under 76kg, while his even younger brother Tristan came out with the same record at under 70kg. One of the toughest brackets was found at under 91kg; where ADCC veteran Felipe Costa beat 4 tough opponents to win gold, including Hunter Colvin in the final. In facto, one of the other men he beat went on to win the absolute division. Dylan Melton had to settle for fourth place in that bracket after going 2-2, but he rallied with 2 more wins to become the absolute champion.

The female absolute champion was Jasmine Rocha, who beat 3 other women to win the gold medal there despite not competing in a regular weight class. One of the most impressive runs in the women’s divisions came from Vitoria Assis though, as she submitted all 3 opponents at under 55kg. Another excellent performance came from 43 year-old black belt Jennifer Case, who also beat 3 women to win the over 70kg division. The men’s under 100kg division was won by another veteran, Abraham La Montagne, who beat 3 men at under 100kg. Rounding out the champions were Maka Vickers and Steffan Banta, who each submitted 2 opponents at under 70kg and over 100kg.
