JT Torres is set to teach at the Coastline Jiu-Jitsu training camp on October 5th to 10th, 2024 and the event has been set up to raise money for a fantastic cause. After the success of their last training camp with Roberto Jimenez, Coastline Jiu-Jitsu is back again in the same location for even more high-level grappling. This edition takes place in the same beautiful location, the town of Cabarete in the Dominican Republic. Surf Salvacion will be providing the accommodation for the training camp and with it being situated right next to Encuentro Beach, there couldn’t be a better view for the attendees.
Encuentro Beach isn’t just a beautiful sight though, it’s also a great opportunity to get some surfing in and the camp even comes with two surf lessons included. Three meals a day are also included in the price, all forming part of a balanced diet with Caribbean flavours to give attendees everything they need. The main attraction is obviously the six no gi training sessions with two-time ADCC world champion JT Torres, but the camp also includes Yoga or Mobility sessions every morning to help prepare attendees for a day of training with the elite competitor.
Tickets for the camp can be bought for as little as $2,200 for a single person or $1,950 each for two people booking together, and a portion of that money is going toward a fantastic cause. The camp is using a percentage of profits to support a group of teenage BJJ practitioners from underprivileged areas in the Dominican Republic and Haiti; covering their transport, training, and workout routines. The goal is to help support these young grapplers and help them to pursue a career in Jiu-Jitsu, a noble cause that may very well change each of their lives for the better.
JT Torres also announced the Coastline Jiu-Jitsu training camp himself in a recent post to his official Instagram account:
