Subversion: Paradigm is scheduled for March 22nd, 2025 and the promotion has just started to announce a fantastic lineup for the event. They have done a great job of matchmaking, booking some of the best competitors from all across Australia once again. Both ADCC and UFC veterans will be featured throughout the card, including a battle between two different generations of elite MMA fighters. Richard Walsh had a memorable UFC run after competing on The Ultimate Fighter and he will be facing current UFC featherweight Josh Culibao, who was only 9 months removed from his debut when Walsh retired from the sport.

There are plenty of other matches featuring talented Australian grapplers throughout the main card, but the main and co-main events feature some international stars. They are both title-fights as well, with the first one taking place in the light-heavyweight division. Izaak Michell has fought his way to ADCC twice now and although he might be the favorite to take home the title on paper, he has some seriously tough opposition in front of him. Sebastian Attard is one of the top brown belts in the world and he’s definitely one to watch over the next few years, but a win over Michell here could easily be his breakout moment.

The final match of the night is a lightweight title-fight featuring the exciting promotional veteran David Stoilescu, as he takes on a massive challenge. Gabriel Sousa is coming all the way to Australia in an attempt to add another title to his collection, and he’s beaten some of the biggest names in the sport during his career. His biggest accomplishment to date is probably the silver medal he won in the under 66kg division at ADCC 2022, and he’s been one of the best in the world at that weight for several years now. Stoilescu and Sousa make for an interesting stylistic matchup too, so this should produce fireworks for the fans watching.

The lineup for Subversion: Paradigm was announced in a series of posts to the promotion’s official Instagram account:
